HDMI Over IP Encoder & Decoder Transceiver, Over IP Extender, TX/RX Mode Switching, 1080p, One to One 600ft, One to Many, Many to Many via VLAN, 2x RJ45 Supports cascading via LAN port directly or via LAN with IGMP gigabit switch, Cascading via HDMI Loopout, Audio Extraction and Embedded, Reset Button, Metal Housing, TAA Compliant
This versatile HDMI over IP Encoder & Decoder Transceiver seamlessly integrates extender, splitter, and switcher functionalities into a single, powerful device, offering flexibility to configure as either an encoder or a decoder to save costs and simple setup
Enabling seamless transmission and expansion of HDMI audio/video signals to remote 1080p@60Hz displays up to 600ft (180m) over Cat6/7 network cables, it supports one-to-many or easy cascading over HDMI cable for up to 5 levels, catering to a wide range of applications
By utilizing the same hardware for both encoding and decoding, you can reduce the overall hardware costs. Depending on demand patterns, you can dynamically allocate resources between encoding and decoding tasks, optimizing resource utilization and maximizing efficiency
Works as a scalable Encoder/Decoder (TX/RX) matrix over a dedicated IP network, enabling the extension of HDMI signals to multiple displays. It offers four connection modes: 1 to 1, 1 to many, many to many via VLAN and Cascading
In 1-to-1 connection mode, the transceiver extends HDMI signals up to 600ft (180m) over Cat6/7 network cable to a remote HDMI display. Ideal for connecting a source device, such as a Blu-ray player or digital signage player, to a distant display
In 1-to-many connection mode, the transceiver cascades HDMI signals up to 328ft (100m) per decoder or utilize an IGMP Gigabit switch, allowing you to connect a single source to multiple remote HDMI display. This is perfect for creating a distributed AV system in a conference room, classroom, or retail environment. to create a scalable audio/video distribution system
In many to many connection mode, with HDMI over IP encoders and decoders supporting VLAN tagging, each encoder and decoder pair can be assigned to specific VLANs. This setup enables many-to-many connectivity, where any source device can transmit video to any destination display within the same VLAN
In cascading configuration mode, you can connect multiple encoders (TX) and decoders (RX) to create a flexible and scalable AV distribution system. Each encoder (TX) can transmit to two decoders (RX) via Cat6/7 cable, extending the reach of your HDMI signals up to 328ft (100m)
*Note: An IGMP Gigabit switch is recommended for best performance and reliability
For even greater flexibility, you can also cascade encoders (TX) to encoders (TX), allowing for up to five levels of cascading via HDMI cables. To ensure optimal video quality and accurate transmission distance, we recommend using HDMI cables no longer than 33ft (10m) for cascading
Supports video resolution up to 1080p@60Hz and complies with the HDCP 1.4 standard to deliver stunning visual clarity and supports EDID pass-through, which allows to automatically detect and configure the optimal resolution for both local and remote displays. This ensures that your content is always displayed in the correct aspect ratio, whether you are connecting to a 16:9, 16:10 & 4:3 display
Allows remote controlling the HDMI Source device at the receiver and playback at the distant display. Supports an IR signals in the 20-60KHz carrier frequency range. Additionally, IR emitter and receiver cables are included for convenient setup and operation
In decoder (RX) mode, the device extracts audio from the HDMI input and sends it to both the local and remote HDMI and audio outputs via the network
In encoder (TX) mode, the device embeds an additional audio signal from a 3.5mm audio source into the HDMI output. This combine the 3.5mm audio and HDMI video signals together then transmitted to the decoder via the network. The audio output from the encoder's HDMI port is only from the HDMI source
Comes with one HDMI video input port, one HDMI output port, two RJ45 network ports, one 3.5mm IR emitter or receiver port, one 3.5mm stereo audio input or output port, one slide switch selects Encoder (TX) or Decoder (RX) mode, one USB port for firmware update, one reset button, one DC power jack (5V/2A)
Supports Plug-n-Play and no driver installation required. The reset button allows for effortless re-detection of connected displays
Supports ESD protection to safe your electronic equipment from electrostatic discharge, ensuring long-lasting performance
Completely manufactured in a TAA designed country
Encased in a durable metal housing, the internal PCBA is safeguarded from harm, ensuring optimal performance. The metal design fosters enhanced heat dissipation and minimized EMI/RFI noise interference, contributing to a seamless user experience
SIIG's HDMI over IP Encoder & Decoder Transceiver is the ideal solution for extending HDMI signals over long distances, making it perfect for applications in concert venue, airports, business briefing sessions, and other commercial settings
With its versatile one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-many capabilities, this transceiver can easily accommodate a wide range of setups, ensuring seamless signal distribution for effective communication and presentations
Video Distribution: In environments like classrooms, conference rooms, or entertainment venues, HDMI over IP transceivers enable the distribution of video content from a centralized source (e.g., media player, computer, or camera) to multiple displays or projectors. This simplifies AV setups and eliminates the need for complex cabling infrastructures
Digital Signage: HDMI over IP solutions are widely used in digital signage applications where content needs to be distributed to multiple displays across a large area, such as retail stores, airports, stadiums, and corporate offices. Using IP networks for distribution offers scalability and flexibility, allowing for easy expansion and management of displays
