Tripp Lite’s B127-002-D2H kit extends a 4K HDMI video signal up to 125 ft. over Cat6 cable to 2 HDMI monitors. The kit includes a 2-port splitter/transmitter that connects to DisplayPort video source devices like media servers or laptops, and transmits their 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) @ 60 Hz signal to 2 receivers connected to your displays. Its Power over Cable (PoC) technology means you won’t need a separate power source for the receivers. The included mounting hardware lets you install the receivers on walls, poles and racks as part of a system that is ideal for extending displays beyond the normal range of A/V cabling with a minimal equipment footprint.
The B127-002-D2H delivers power to the connected receivers over user-supplied Cat6 cabling (such as the Tripp Lite N202-Series), giving you the flexibility to place them where most convenient without needing to be near an AC wall outlet or additional power equipment. Green and orange LED lights on the transmitter and receivers will indicate when the system is receiving power and a signal is being transmitted.
You don’t need to download or install software to use the B127-002-D2H’s transmitter and receiver units; simply plug the transmitter into an AC outlet using the included 100-240V power supply and connect it to your DisplayPort media source. Connect the transmitter to the receivers via Cat6 cable, and connect the receivers to HDMI displays using HDMI cable (such as Tripp Lite’s P568- or P569-series). Built-in equalization automatically fine-tunes the image quality on the displays with no time-consuming manual fiddling needed.
