Tripp Lite’s P566-003-VGA converts the digital video signal from an HDMI source such as a computer, Chromebook™, cable box or Blu-ray™ player so it can be displayed on an analog VGA monitor, projector or television. By using this 3 ft. cable with the active adapter built in, you reduce cable clutter at your desktop, while saving the effort and expense of upgrading to a new HDMI display.

Active Adapter is Built In
This HDMI to low-profile HD15 cable includes the active adapter built in so no additional bulky cables are required. The P566-003-VGA supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz. Note: this product does not support digitally encrypted content.
Connect Simply to Your Equipment
It is plug-and-play ready; no software or drivers are required. An LED indicator lets you know the unit is functioning. In most installations, an external power source is not needed. However, if your application requires more power, a USB Micro-B port is included for connection to a USB wall charger or computer port.
