Tripp Lite’s PDUMH15HVAT distributes, monitors and manages power in data centers, server rooms and other high-tech IT and industrial environments. It features 10 unswitched C13 outlets, as well as a built-in slot for optional network accessory cards that allow full remote power monitoring and control via secure network or web browser. It mounts in 1U of space in EIA-standard 19-inch racks.
Typical Applications
Primary and Secondary Inputs for Power Redundancy The PDUMH15HVAT enables redundant power for network devices with non-redundant power supply configurations. Dual 3.6-meter input cords with IEC 320 C14 plugs connect to separate primary and secondary single-phase power sources in a nominal voltage range from 200–240V. The PDUMH15HVAT constantly evaluates the power quality of both input sources. Plug-lock inserts prevent cords from accidental disconnection.
Dynamic solid-state (TRIAC) automatic transfer switching allows the PDUMH15HVAT to switch to the secondary source within 2–5 milliseconds should the primary source fail or become unstable to ensure your connected equipment operates without interruption. A built-in processor monitors both sources and prevents switching if the secondary source is unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source.
A digital ammeter monitors total output current. LEDs display outlet on/off status and input power status on primary and secondary inputs.
Advanced Network Monitoring Options
A built-in card slot supports the optional SNMPWEBCARD and WEBCARDLX accessory cards (sold separately). When installed, they turn the PDUMH15HVAT into a switched PDU by allowing remote access for power monitoring, configuration, outlet control and notifications via web browser, SSH, Telnet or SNMP. This PDU supports a user-programmable startup of outlets in any order or interval to ensure network items are turned on in the proper sequence and reliably discovered.
