Compatible with Hard Drives Up to 4 TB

The U438-06N-G2-W accepts SATA III, SATA II and SATA I drives up to 4 TB, making it perfect for sharing large music and video files. It supports 48-bit LBA (Logical Block Addressing) for accessing the full capacity of a SATA drive larger than 137 Gb, as well as USB Mass Storage Class Bulk-Only Transport for interfacing with most USB storage devices.

Supports USB 3.1 Gen 2

The U438-06N-G2-W supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps—double the speed of USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Gen 1—and is backward-compatible with previous USB generations. When connected to a UASP-enabled (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) host controller, it reads data up to 70% faster and writes up to 40% faster than USB 3.0.
