Tripp Lite's PDUMH32HVATNET distributes, monitors and manages single-phase 230V power to connected rack equipment in data centers, network closets, server rooms, computer rooms and other applications requiring network-grade power. Its built-in network interface allows real-time remote monitoring of voltage, frequency and load levels to prevent overloads that cause expensive downtime. It features 18 switched outlets (16 C13 and two C19) in two single-phase output banks, each bank protected by a 20A circuit breaker. It mounts in 2U of space in EIA-standard 19-inch racks.
The Java-free HTML5-based LX Platform network interface enables full remote access for PDU status monitoring and email notifications via secure web browser, SNMP, telnet or SSH. It supports 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimum communication with an Ethernet network. Optional ENVIROSENSE modules (sold separately) provide a variety of environmental monitoring capabilities. Protocols supported include IPv4, IPv6, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP and NTP. DHCP/Manual configuration support offers the ability to have network settings automatically assigned to the card, reducing the need for manual configuration.
This PDU provides remote power monitoring and enables redundant power for network devices with non-redundant power supply configurations. Dual three-meter input cords with IEC 309 32A Blue (2P+E) plugs connect to separate primary and secondary single-phase power sources.
Switches to Secondary Power Source in Milliseconds
Dynamic solid-state (TRIAC) automatic transfer switching allows the PDUMH32HVATNET to switch to the secondary source within 1–5 milliseconds should the primary source fail or become unstable. This ensures your connected equipment operates without interruption. A built-in processor monitors both sources and prevents switching if the secondary source is unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source.
For a higher level of network power control, the outlets can be individually controlled in real time. These controllable outlets enable power management tasks, including load shedding, load ramping, programming power-on and power-off sequences, and rebooting of locked-up network devices, to be performed remotely. By reducing the frequency of on-site visits, these advanced remote capabilities can save you money and reduce downtime. Unused outlets can be disabled to prevent the connection of unauthorized equipment loads. Each outlet has an LED that illuminates to confirm power on/off status.
With a rugged all-metal housing, the PDUMH32HVATNET is well equipped for power distribution in rack enclosures and network closets. A cord retention bracket secures equipment power cords to reduce cable clutter and help prevent the PDU and its connected equipment from becoming accidentally disconnected. Real-time clock backup maintains the time of day and date, even if the PDU is shut down and unpowered.
Multifunction Digital LED Display
Front-facing display reports source A and source B input power status and other information, including power availability, line voltage, frequency, amps, kilowatts and power factor.
