The system is an IP-based high performance KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) extender. It allows critical computing hardware to be housed remotely from the user workstation in a secure, temperature-controlled environment. It is designed to improve productivity, reduce IT costs and produce better business results. It offers a real-time desktop computing experience from a remote workstation to access keyboard, mouse, video, audio, USB mass storage devices and other USB devices across an HMX IP Network with no compromise to video quality or control. The HMX High Performance KVM System provides powerful administrative tools and connection-management control for the network resources without compromising quality. Features include:

Vertiv Avocent HMX High Performance KVM Systems speed the process of creating and editing high-quality broadcast and professional video productions by providing no-compromise video quality or control. Systems offer one or two video DVI video connections in resolutions of 1920 x 2000 or 2560 x 1600. Video may also be converted to analog.
