Kanguru Self-Service Password Management (SSPM)

Everyone can be forgetful from time to time, but if a user forgets the password to an encrypted flash drive, the inability to access important data could become a painful experience. Kanguru has a convenient, optional new feature that enables users to reset their own password in the event it is ever needed. Self-Service Password Management (SSPM) is a subscription license-based service that provides Kanguru Defender Secure USB flash drive users with the means to securely reset their password if it is ever forgotten.

A forgotten password could cause access to important information on an encrypted flash drive to be interrupted or worse, lost forever. Kanguru Self-Service Password Management (SSPM) provides an easy, secure way to reset the password.

For Administrators Using KRMC:

For Administrators of an organization managing secure data storage drives with the Kanguru Remote Management Console (KRMC), Self-Service Password Management is conveniently built-in as part of the service. Administrators can turn this feature on or off for specific users, freeing them up from having to individually reset passwords for multiple clients.
