Continuous Power to Connected UPS Equipment

Tripp Lite’s SU2030KMBP 3-Breaker Maintenance Bypass Panel is used in conjunction with a 3-Phase UPS to maintain total continuity of power to connected load circuits when bypass of the UPS equipment is required for performance of regular service and maintenance. The SU2030KMBP works by using 3 built-in CH-type circuit breakers to isolate 20kVA and 30kVA 3-Phase UPS systems from connected loads with no loss of network availability. The 3-position mechanical interlock system enhances system reliability. For enhanced safety, the unit also includes a 100A breaker with a KAIC rating of 10. The SU2030KMBP supports wall-mount installations.

Switching Between Normal and Bypass Modes Made Easy

When a UPS needs maintenance, the SU2030KMBP keeps power supplied to components via its mechanical interlock system by switching power to the external bypass breaker. Simply unscrew the interlock switch, rotate the switch from the UPS AC input breaker (SW1) to the bypass breaker (SW3), then turn on the bypass breaker and turn off the UPS and isolation breakers to perform maintenance without service interruption.
