Simple Equipment Installation, Vented Top and Bottom Panels with Cable Cutouts
The SR18UB simplifies equipment installation with numbered rack spaces for easy reference. Front and rear pairs of vertical rails with square mounting holes are adjustable in quarter-inch increments to accommodate equipment depths from 3 to 32.5 inches.
The top and bottom panels of the SR18UB come furnished with vents designed to remove warm air and draw in cool air by convection. The SR18UB's vents also support active cooling with the optional installation of standard user-supplied case fans like Tripp Lite's SRFANWM (sold separately). The top and bottom panels are additionally equipped with cutout ports for cable routing.
A locking, reversible front door and locking, removable side panels restrict unwanted access to installed equipment while still allowing authorized personnel to perform inspections, maintenance and equipment replacement.
The SR18UB's heavy-duty, cold-rolled steel construction securely stores up to 1000 pounds of standard 19 inches rackmount equipment.
Fully Assembled with Preinstalled Caster Kit and 5-Year Warranty
To simplify deployment, the SR18UB ships fully assembled along with a preinstalled accessory caster kit and all required installation hardware. With casters installed, the SR18UB can be taken out of the box and easily maneuvered to its desired location, followed by securing the rack in place by adjusting the unit’s levelers. Note: the casters are intended for minor position adjustments within the final installation area only and are not designed for moving the enclosure over long distances.
