Tripp Lite's PDUMH30AT Single-Phase Metered Power Distribution Unit (PDU) with Automatic Transfer Switching (ATS) is the perfect solution for efficient, cost-effective power distribution, monitoring and management in high-density IT or industrial environments. It contains 24 5-15/20R outlets, one L5-30R outlet, and a digital meter that displays continuous power consumption so IT personnel can monitor the PDU's load on-site. The optional integrated automatic transfer switching capability enables dual AC input redundancy for critical network hardware, hot-swappable UPS maintenance bypass or dual UPS protection. The PDUMH30AT is also equipped with an SNMPWEBCARD slot for remote monitoring and load switching. The PDUMH30AT's all-metal housing and switchless design prevent accidental shutoff. It is suitable for 2U rackmount installation as well as wall-mount, workbench, under-counter and similar installations. For peace of mind, the PDUMH30AT comes backed by a 2-year warranty and is designed according to strict RoHS specifications.
The PDUMH30AT is engineered for reliable AC power distribution to supported equipment in IT, industrial and other similar applications. An unfiltered electrical pass-through makes the PDUMH30AT ideal for distributing alternate waveform utility, UPS or generator power in rack enclosures, network closets, and more. Its rugged steel housing is designed to stand up to even the harshest worksite environments. 24 high-quality 5-15/20R outlets (12 on front, 12 on rear) and one L5-30R outlet ensure optimal connections to equipment. Additional features include a 30-amp circuit breaker and dual 10-ft. cords with locking L5-30P plugs. To help maintain power to mission-critical equipment, the PDUMH30AT's switchless design prevents accidental shutoff and safeguards against downtime due to human error.
Integrated Auto-Transfer Switching & Hot-Swap Capability The PDUMH30AT's optional integrated automatic transfer switching (ATS) capability functions as a redundant power option for networking and server applications with non-redundant internal power supplies. In ATS mode, the primary power cord delivers primary input power and the secondary power cord provides secondary input power. If primary power becomes unstable or fails, the PDU automatically switches to the secondary power source. Additionally, ATS enables fault-tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS system, and fully redundant UPS protection when each power cord is connected to a separate UPS system. Front-panel input LEDs indicate primary or secondary power availability.
To ensure proper load balance, the PDUMH30AT's easy-to-read, 2-character digital LED meter displays the total connected equipment load in real-time to allow more equipment to be safely connected with no danger of overloading the PDU or power supply circuits. The PDUMH30AT's digital current meter also uses a segment selection button that reports output power consumption in amps for each of the four outlet banks (two banks of 12 x 5-15/20R outlets, one L5-30R outlet, and the total output of all outlets combined). Plus, the outlets are factory programmed for sequential activation when the PDU is first energized to prevent inrush-related equipment interaction on start-up and safeguard against costly overloads.
A built-in SNMPWEBCARD slot enables the PDUMH30AT to be permanently upgraded to a switched PDU with full network power monitoring and individual outlet control capability. With an SNMPWEBCARD installed, the PDUMH30AT can also be custom programmed for power-on and power-off sequences with user-specified time delays in response to loss and restoration of primary input power.
Versatile Installation
The PDUMH30AT is easy to integrate with a wide range of data center and network applications. It is suitable for 2U installation in standard 19-inch rack enclosures as well as wall-mount, workbench, under-counter and similar installations.
