Tripp Lite’s PDUMH20ATNET provides all the management features of a switched PDU, plus a redundant 120V power option for single-corded network devices in data centers, network closets, server rooms, computer rooms and other environments requiring network-grade power. This PDU has 16 switched NEMA 5-15/20R outlets and supports mounting in 1U of rack space, on a wall or under a counter.
To provide redundant power for network devices, this PDU has dual 12 ft. (3.6 m) input power cords with NEMA L5-20P plugs (5-20P adapters are included) for connection to compatible AC power sources, including separate mains circuits, backup generators and separate utility power grid feeds. Dual inputs also enable fault tolerant, hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and fully redundant UPS protection when each cord is connected to a separate UPS system. In a two-UPS environment, the primary input cable must be supported by a full-time sine wave UPS with zero transfer time, such as a Tripp Lite SmartOnline UPS.
Dynamic solid-state automatic transfer switching allows the PDUMH20ATNET to switch to the secondary source within 2–7 milliseconds if the primary source fails or becomes unstable. This ensures your connected equipment operates without interruption. A built-in processor monitors both sources and prevents switching if the secondary source is unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source.
The LX Platform network interface comes installed in the PDU, providing full remote access for status monitoring and email notifications via secure web browser, SNMP, telnet or SSH. It is a Java-free, HTML5-based interface. Optional EnviroSense2 modules (sold separately) add a variety of environmental monitoring capabilities. Protocols supported include HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP and NTP.
Advanced remote capabilities can help minimize downtime and reduce the frequency of on-site visits to save you time and money. Each outlet can be managed individually for load shedding, load ramping and programming of power-on/power-off sequences. Unused outlets can be disabled to prevent the connection of unauthorized equipment loads. Each outlet has an LED to confirm power on/off status.
Load Meter and Input Source Indicator for Local Monitoring
A digital display reports the total electrical current used by the PDU, allowing you to connect equipment without overloading the unit. An LED illuminates to indicate which source, primary or secondary, is supplying power to the PDU outlets.
