POWERFUL USER ACCESS CONTROL
Grant access to specified users or implement LDAP directory authentication, and limit KVM access to specific targets on the switch with the Vertiv Avocent AV 3000 KVM over IP Switches. CAC support with encryption for smart cards and password protection for local users, provides security for virtual media sessions in high security environments. AES encryption can be selected for keyboard, mouse and video signals and virtual media sessions.

SCALABLE
The Vertiv Avocent AV 3000 KVM over IP Switches is offered in two models. The 8-port switch (AV3108) supports one local and one remote user and up to eight server or serial devices. The 16-port switch (AV3216) supports up to two local and one remote user and 16 server or serial devices. Vertiv Avocent AV 3000 KVM over IP Switches provide consolidated management of up to 256 server or serial devices when tiered.
