Turn Your Cooling Unit Into a Network-Managed Device

Installing the remote management card in a compatible cooling unit enables full remote access for status monitoring, event notifications and device management via secure web browser, SNMP, SSH, Telnet or command line interfaces. Remote monitoring and control reduces the need for on-site visits, saving time and money.

Key Features

Ethernet Port (RJ45)

  • Connects the SRCOOL2KWM, SRCOOL7KRM or SRCOOL18K to the network using a user-supplied Ethernet patch cable.

Reset Button

  • Reboots the network interface without erasing network settings or interrupting AC power. The button can also restore the network interface to its factory default settings, which erases all saved data.

Micro-USB Port

  • This port connects to a computer running a terminal emulation program.

USB-A Port

  • This port connects to the included E2MT module for monitoring ambient temperature conditions.

Status LED

  • LED color and pattern indicate SRCOOLNET2LX status, Ethernet activity and network speed.

Remotely Monitor Temperature Near Rack Equipment

Use the included E2MT environmental sensor module to monitor temperature inside a rack or near rack equipment. When the temperature exceeds the target value selected, the cooling unit will turn on to cool equipment. When the temperature falls below the target value, the unit will turn off. The sensor connects to the remote management card with the included USB cable.

Easily Install Network Card in a Compatible Cooling Unit

The remote management card fits into the cooling unit’s SNMP accessory slot. The card’s RJ45 port connects to an Ethernet network with user-supplied patch cable. The built-in PowerAlert Device Manager interface provides a single display for managing both the cooling unit and the E2MT module.
