Best Practices for Replacement Batteries

• Install the UPS in a suitable environment, within specified operating conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.).
• Record the installation date (some UPS models feature a Battery Replacement date that can be set in the configuration menu)
• Do not overload the UPS Battery supported outlets with too much-connected equipment, expressed as Watts.
• Regularly perform a Battery Self-Test
• Replace batteries proactively between 3-5 years
