Yes, APC rack PDUs are UL certified.
How can I create an integrated IT solution?
The sales professional can assist you in designing a complete IT physical infrastructure solution that includes hardware, software and services. Begin with NetShelter TM racks integrated with NetShelter TM rack PDUs, Smart-UPS TM for backup power, NetBotz TM components for security and environmental monitoring, Aisle Containment, Cooling solutions and EcoStruxure TM IT for remote monitoring and administration.
Does pressing the reset button on a Rack PDU cause the outlets to reboot or disrupt power in any way?
No, it does not affect the electrical output of the Rack PDU. It simply reboots the embedded Network Management Card, which will render the network port inaccessible for a short period while it reboots.
Will upgrading the firmware on an APC PDU cause a loss of power to the outlets?
A firmware upgrade of the management interface will not power on/off any attached loads. The network management card will reboot during the process but will not affect the attached load.
