UL-listed and OSHA-compliant
Tested to UL standard 458, the UT750UL’s large-transformer design allows for operation of high-current components on start up. The UT750UL also meets OSHA requirements, with its two 5-15R GFCI protected outlets and 5-15P GFCI plug that enhance crew safety in moist environments.
Works as an Inverter, Standalone AC Power Source or UPS
The UT750UL features an automatic line-to-battery transfer switch and integrated charging system that allow it to work as a vehicle inverter, standalone AC power source or extended-run UPS. When the UT750UL is connected to an AC power source, power is passed through to connected equipment and the battery set is charged via a 3-stage, 11/45-amp selectable charging system with adjustable settings for wet/gel/AGM battery types. In the event of a power failure or severe voltage fluctuation, the UT750UL responds with a near-instantaneous (16.6 millisecond) automatic transfer to battery power. Any number of user-supplied batteries may be connected to the UT750UL to provide unlimited extended battery backup support for critical equipment. A three-position switch enables you to select AUTO mode, CHARGE-ONLY mode or SYSTEM OFF mode.
Meets Normal and Peak Power Demands
When operating in inverter mode, the UT750UL accommodates peak surge demands by providing up to 200% more output power than its continuous rating of 750 watts. In OverPower™ mode, the UT750UL can deliver 1125 watts for up to an hour, providing ample reserve power to keep tools and equipment running longer. In DoubleBoost™ mode, it can deliver 1500 watts for up to 10 seconds to support power-hungry equipment start-ups and motor cycling requirements.
Overload Protection
To prevent damage to the inverter and connected equipment, the UT750UL shuts down automatically if an overload is detected at the AC output connection. The red Load Level Indicator LED will flash to alert you that an overload has occurred. Additional overload protection is provided by a 10-amp AC input circuit breaker, 12-amp AC output circuit breaker and built-in multi-speed cooling fan.
Front Panel LEDs
The UT750UL features six front-panel diagnostic LEDs to indicate load level (high, medium and low), battery charge (high, medium and low), shutdown status and system fault status.
Remote Control Capability Included
The UT750UL includes the APSRM4 Remote Control LED/Switch Module accessory. When connected to the RJ45 port, it allows you to control and monitor the inverter/charger up to 50 feet away.
Customizable with Optional Features
Other optional features include a battery temperature sensor with 20-foot cable that adjusts the charge level based on battery temperature, an ignition switch control jack that connects the UT750UL to the vehicle’s ignition switch and an automatic generator starter jack that allows the user configuration of automatic generator startup when the battery bank falls below a set voltage threshold.
2.5-Year Product Warranty and Environmentally Responsible Design
The UT750UL is backed by a two and a half year warranty and manufactured in compliance with strict RoHS specifications, reflecting Tripp Lite’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
