Tripp Lite’s B140-002-DD 2-Port DVI over Cat5/6 Extender lets you transmit a DVI-D single-link signal from two DVI inputs to two sets of dual displays using inexpensive Cat5/6 cabling at distances up to 200 ft. away (Tripp Lite B140-Series active or passive remote receiver unit required, sold separately). The B140-002-DD is ideal for digital signage applications in schools, churches, retail environments, trade shows, business conference rooms, convention centers and any other venue needing to send video signals to more than one DVI-enabled digital video component.

Extend DVI Signals up to 200 ft. Away

This Tripp Lite dual display DVI over Cat5/6 extender/splitter allows extension of DVI signals beyond the 15-ft. distance limitation. The B140-002-DD can extend a 1024 x 768 (60Hz) resolution up to 200 ft. and a 1920 x 1200 (60Hz) resolution up to 150 ft. when used with an active remote unit (Tripp Lite B140-1A0 or B140-1A0-WP-1, sold separately). When used with a passive remote unit (Tripp Lite B140-1P0, sold separately), it can extend a 1024 x 768 (60Hz) resolution up to 100 ft. and a 1920 x 1200 (60Hz) resolution up to 50 ft. This distance can be further expanded with the addition of B140-110 repeaters. Up to four remote units can be connected in a repeater chain (three repeaters and one receiver) for a total of four displays per channel. For maximum distance performance, always use 24 AWG Solid Wire Cat5e/6 cable (Tripp Lite N202-series, sold separately).
