Tripp Lite’s B126-1A0-U HDMI over Cat5/Cat6 Active Extender is a pigtail-style receiver that works with a Tripp Lite B126-Series transmitter (sold separately) and inexpensive Cat5e/6 cable to extend an HDMI audio/video signal up to 125 ft. from the source. This receiver is powered by an included USB Micro-B to USB-A cable with no other external power supply required. Because of its affordability and ease of use, it’s perfect for digital signage, trade show presentations, conference rooms, lecture halls, retail environments, churches and schools.

The B126-1A0-U supports HD video resolutions up to 1080p (@ 60 Hz) as well as stereo audio and 3D formatting. It’s also HDCP-compliant so you can rest assured that all transmitted digital content will be protected from interception. Additionally, a built-in equalization control lets you fine-tune the image quality on the remote display using an included screwdriver.
Plug-and-Play Setup with a Latching HDMI Connector
With no software or drivers to install, the B126-1A0-U’s plug-and-play setup gets your application up and running quickly, no matter what operating system you use. Connect a B126-Series transmitter to the unit using Cat5e/6 cable (for best results, use 24 AWG solid-wire cable, such as Tripp Lite’s N202-Series). Next, use the receiver’s built-in HDMI cable to connect the unit to your display. The cable’s latching connector will ensure that it stays connected. To power the receiver, use the included USB Micro-B to Type-A cable. Simply plug its Micro-B connector into the corresponding port on the receiver, then connect its Type-A end to a USB port on the display or a wall charger. Built-in LEDs indicate the unit is receiving power and a signal from the source.
