The Tripp Lite APSX3024SW 3000W PowerVerter APS 24V DC 230V AC Inverter/Charger is a reliable power source for a wide variety of power tools, computers, audio/video components and other sensitive electronics at mobile, emergency and remote sites. Designed for installation in RVs, commercial and fleet vehicles and emergency vehicles, the portable APSX3024SW converts stored DC power from a user-supplied 24V battery to pure sine wave 230V AC current for unlimited runtime in heavy-load conditions. With no fumes, fuel or excess noise, it’s an excellent alternative to generator power.


Works as an Inverter, Standalone AC Power Source or Extended-Run UPS

The APSX3024SW’s automatic line-to-battery transfer switch and integral charging system allow the unit to work as a vehicle inverter, standalone AC power source or extended-run UPS. When powered by an external 230V AC source, the unit keeps the user-supplied battery charged via a three-stage 23/90A selectable charging system while simultaneously delivering conditioned, pure sine wave AC power to connected equipment.

Meets Normal and Peak Power Demands

In inverter mode, the APSX3024SW accommodates peak surge demands by providing up to 200% more output power than its continuous rating of 3000 watts. It can deliver 4500 watts up to one minute and 6000 watts up to ten seconds to support power-hungry equipment startups and motor cycling requirements. Connect the hardwire terminals to your AC power source to charge connected batteries and pass conditioned AC power.

Overload Protection

If it detects an overload in DC mode, the APSX3024SW automatically shuts down and flashes an LED warning. Resettable circuit breakers and a built-in cooling fan help prevent damage to the unit and connected equipment.


Automatic Transfer Switching

In UPS mode, the APSX3024SW responds to blackouts and brownouts with an automatic transfer to battery-derived, pure sine wave AC power.

Automatic Voltage Regulation

The APSX3024SW corrects abnormal voltages without draining battery power during battery charging and UPS standby modes, making it ideal for supporting equipment powered by generators and other AC sources that experience frequent voltage fluctuations.


Heavy-Duty Construction

The APSX3024SW features a rugged steel housing that resists moisture, vibration, impact and high-humidity environments, making it perfect for use in trucks, RVs, boats or anywhere else reliable AC power is needed. Built-in mounting feet allow installation on any rigid horizontal surface.


Optional Remote Control Capability
