Tripp Lite’s B093-004-2E4U-V 4-Port Console Server provides secure, remote access to in-band (primary network) and out-of-band (alternate channel) serial- and network-connected devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, PBX systems, UPS systems and PDUs. With redundancy-providing dual Gigabit primary and failover Ethernet ports, it offers reliable connectivity and can be used in a wide variety of applications, including server rooms, wiring closets, branch offices, retail environments and other remote sites where quick resolution of network issues is critical.

Provides Remote Access via Your Cellular Network If Your Primary Network Fails

This next-generation console server features a built-in multi-carrier 4G LTE cellular modem, which provides remote access in the event of a primary network failure. It defaults to Verizon’s network, but you can set it to AT&T, Rogers (Canada) and Telus (Canada) via its GUI interface. This flexibility saves you time and money by eliminating the need to buy a different modem for each carrier.

Easy to Use with Commonly Available Cat5e/6 Cable
To connect to Cisco devices, the B093-004-2E4U-V’s four serial RS-232 console ports use standard, off-the-shelf Cat5e/6 patch cable, which integrate easily with industry-standard directory servers using TACACS+, RADIUS, LDAP and Kerberos authentication. This console server also provides 4 Gb of internal NAND flash memory, which does not require power to retain data.

Features a Built-In Firewall and Network Forwarding

Each of the B093-004-2E4U-V’s gateways can port forward to an unlimited number of locally networked computers and routers. Those devices can then IP connect through the console server to devices on remote networks. Also included are a built-in stateful firewall and embedded DHCP server to host a separate LAN for critical traffic.

The B093-004-2E4U-V uses PowerMan for PDU and RPC management and Network UPS Tools for UPS system management. Because it’s vendor-neutral, it provides support for Tripp Lite and other power products, and you can remotely manage power to all of your connected equipment.

Four USB 2.0 console ports allow the connection of newer USB-enabled devices, like Tripp Lite’s wide variety of LX Platform PDUs and UPS systems. Two digital I/O (DIO) ports are also included for connecting drive relays, alarms and other compatible devices.
