The Vertiv Geist rPDUs equipped with the upgradeable Interchangeable Monitoring Device (IMD) allow you to upgrade your monitoring technology as the needs of your business evolves. The IMDs are hot-swappable so scheduled downtime is not required for an upgrade.

Enhanced Intelligence

With advanced monitoring and management, users have a comprehensive view of critical IT equipment power usage either at the rack or via remote access. Users can also power cycle unresponsive IT equipment remotely with select switched RTS models. You can set thresholds to receive alarms when power conditions fall outside the desired range for added protection.

Warranty

All Vertiv Geist rPDUs come with a default three-year warranty, but you can extend it for two more years if you register your unit within 120 days of purchase.

4-8ms TRANSFER SPEED

The Vertiv Geist rPDU can help ensure your critical IT equipment remains powered even in the event of a power failure. This rPDU automatically switches from the primary power source to the secondary power source in 4-8 milliseconds, saving your important business operations from harmful and costly disruptions caused by power loss.

EASY TO USE FRONT PANEL

The rPDU has an easy-to-use front panel that provides visual identification of the active power source for easy monitoring. It also allows users to do a manual transfer of the power source. The transfer can be done either by touch of a button or remotely, so users have options on how to manage power loads during maintenance or emergency power loss.

OUTLET FLEXIBILITY

Select models in the Vertiv Geist rPDU product line are equipped with the Combination Outlets C13/C19. These hybrid outlets function as both a C13 and C19 receptacle. The outlets accommodate both C14 and C20 plug types interchangeably, providing you the flexibility to support common critical IT equipment using just a single rack PDU.
