How do I activate my contract?
|
After EcoCare for Single-Phase UPS is purchased, you will receive an email with your digital entitlements from Schneider Electric or your IT partner. You will need to log in or create an account in the mySchneider portal and activate your contract. Once the contract is activated, connect to Schneider Electric’s cloud-based services using your Network Management Card or SmartConnect.

What happens after my EcoCare for Single-Phase UPS membership is activated?
|
You will receive an on-boarding call from our Connected Services Hub remote monitoring. The Connected Services Hub is notified of EcoCare for Single-Phase UPS orders, and contacts customers to connect new orders/assets within 10 business days

How am I contacted by the Connected Services Hub (CSH) when alerts & events happen?
|
Critical Events are escalated to the CSH and you will receive push notifications about your ticket. The CSH analyzes the situation (real alarm or nuisance alarm). If determined critical, the CSH will call out to your on-duty contact (from provided web portal) that you have set up. The CSH will make 3 attempts to contact you. On duty/Off duty status can be set by users via the app. If a nuisance alarm, the CSH will close out with note in app to you about why it was closed / disregarded.

Is EcoCare for Single-Phase UPS a replacement offer for Warranty Extensions? |
No, Warranty Extensions and EcoCare for Single-Phase UPS are two different offers.

Can EcoCare for Single-Phase UPS be proposed for third party devices such as a competitor UPS? |
It’s something we are evaluating. However, currently, 3rd party UPS cannot benefit from EcoCare for Single-Phase UPS.

How long is my product eligible for EcoCare for Single-Phase UPS?
|
Smart-UPS with VRLA batteries are eligible for EcoCare for Single-Phase UPS up to 8 years after install. Smart-UPS with Lithium-Ion batteries are eligible for up to 7 years after install.
