Expansion capabilities

While one B024-DPU16 KVM switch can control up to 16 DisplayPort devices, cascading two levels of switches provides centralized access to as many as 256. Additionally, by stacking up to eight units on a level surface, you can display video on up to eight monitors simultaneously.

  • Included cable sets (two DisplayPort, two USB-A-to-B and two 3.5 mm audio) simplify connection of cascaded switches.
  • Depending on the number of switches included, stacked installations can support dual-display, triple-display, quad-display and multi-display scenarios.
  • Switches can be placed on any level surface that will safely support their combined weight.

Easy installation and use

The plug-and-play B024-DPU16 mounts easily into 1U of rack space with included brackets. Use the front-panel pushbuttons, keyboard hotkey commands or multi-lingual On-Screen Display (OSD) to quickly toggle between connected computers. Use the Auto Scan feature to scan all connected computers in five-second intervals automatically.

  • Supports Windows, Mac, Linux and Sun operating systems.
  • Computers or servers can be quickly added or removed without powering down the switch.
  • Orange LEDs indicate which computer or server is currently selected.
  • A built-in dual-port USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub lets you share peripherals, including printers, webcams and flash drives, between computers.

The B024-DPU16 supports true 4K (4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz) video and 2.1-channel surround sound with full bass response. Independent audio switching lets you listen to audio from one computer while working on another.

Smooth, secure operation

This KVM switch maintains constant keyboard and mouse emulation for smooth, no-delay switching. Two levels of password protection (administrator and user) prevent unauthorized people from gaining access to computers.
