In-Line Surge Protector Keeps Your HDBaseT or 10G Digital Signage Network Safe
Tripp Lite’s B110-SP-CAT In-Line Surge Protector fits right into your digital signage network installation. Simply connect it between your source and network equipment using Cat5e/6 patch cables and protect your source and device against damage caused by lightning and electrostratic discharge (ESD). To protect both source and device, two surge protectors are required.

Solid-state silicon-avalanche diode technology protects against ESD and reacts to surges in less than one nanosecond. All four twisted pairs are equipped with gas discharge modules that protect each wire by dissipating transient voltage through a contained plasma gas. The B110-SP-CAT meets the following IEC regulations: IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD) +/- 15kV (air), +/- 8kV (contact) and IEC 61000-4-5 (lightning) 2kA (8/20μs)/6kV (8/20μs).

This in-line surge supports 4K resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz (HDBaseT) without compromising signal quality. It also supports data transfer speeds up to 10 Gbps.
