HDMI Splitter Sends 4K Video and High-Quality Audio to 8 Displays Simultaneously

Tripp Lite’s B118-008E-UHD-2 splitter takes an audio/video signal from a single HDMI source, like a Blu-ray player, media console or laptop, and sends it to eight separate HDMI monitors. It supports true 4K resolutions (4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz), so the picture quality will never be compromised.

Typical Applications

  • Give a video presentation on multiple screens in a boardroom or conference room
  • Connect a security camera to eight separate displays
  • Transmit content to multiple monitors in a retail environment

For compatibility with the latest hardware, it’s compliant with HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2 and 3D standards.

Adjustable EDID Settings Give You Complete Control Over Your Displays

EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) is a metadata format that allows monitors, projectors and TVs to automatically send information about their capabilities to a video source. This, in turn, allows the source to transmit the highest quality video and audio signal. The B118-008E-UHD-2 features a built-in DIP switch that lets you override the automatic detection to set and control the A/V output yourself.

  • User-adjustable EDID settings
