Tripp Lite’s B160-101-DPHDSI extender kit converts a DisplayPort signal to an IP-based signal for transmission to a DVI or HDMI monitor or projector via Cat5e/6 cable. It includes one Tripp Lite B160-001-DPSI transmitter and one B160-100-HDSI receiver and is perfect for classrooms, trade show booths, convention centers, movie theaters, hotel waiting rooms, places of worship and other applications where the source and display need to be located in different areas.
Typical Applications:
In a point-to-point installation, this extender kit lets you place your monitor or projector up to 328 ft. (100 m) from your source. That’s more than 200 feet farther than a traditional Cat5e/6 solution will allow. It supports HD picture quality at resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 (1080p) at 60 Hz.
Connect an Ethernet switch with Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) to create an installation with multiple sources and displays. Add multiple managed switches to create a multi-in/multi-out installation with up to 64 transmitters and 255 receivers. The IGMP-enabled switch will provide centralized control over which sources transmit to which displays.
With no software or drivers required, the B160-101-DPHDSI’s transmitter and receiver are completely plug-and-play. Included hardware supports rack-mount, wall-mount or pole-mount installation.
This extender kit is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA) for GSA Schedule purchases and other federal procurement contracts.
