Tripp Lite’s B126-004 4-Port HDMI over Cat5/6 Extender/Splitter is designed for use with Tripp Lite B126-Series receivers. This box-style transmitter splits a single HDMI audio/video signal into five separate signals (one local, four remote). It’s perfect for multi-display digital signage and video applications in hospitals, stores, convention centers, movie theaters and other environments in which the video source is located farther than conventional cables allow.
By daisy-chaining up to three B126-004 transmitters, your application can support up to 13 total monitors (one local, 12 remote) with a single video source. To ensure a secure connection between daisy-chained transmitters, a 12-inch HDMI daisy-chain cable with latching connectors is included with the unit.
Supports the Latest Video and Audio Standards
Supports the Latest Video and Audio Standards In addition to crystal-clear video, the B126-004 delivers full, rich stereo and 7.1-channel surround sound (multi-channel or PCM) audio. It also supports 24-bit True Color (8 bits per channel) and High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP).
When used with a Tripp Lite B126-1A0 or B126-1A0-WP-1 active receiver, the B126-004 can extend a 1080i (60 Hz) signal up to 200 ft., a 1080p (60 Hz) signal up to 150 ft. and a 3D signal up to 125 ft. When used with a B126-1P0 or B126-1P0-WP-1 passive receiver, it can extend a 1080i (60 Hz) up to 100 ft. and a 1080p signal up to 50 ft. Extend your signal range even further by adding up to three B126-110 remote repeaters to each channel of your installation. Each repeater can extend a 1080i (60 Hz) signal an additional 175 ft., a 1080p (60 Hz) signal an additional 125 ft. and a 3D signal an additional 100 ft.
Easy to Set Up and Use With no software or drivers required for installation, the B126-004 is completely plug-and-play. Use HDMI cabling, like Tripp Lite’s P568-Series, to connect to your source and local monitor, and Cat5e/6 cabling to send the signal to your remote monitors. (For best results, use 24 AWG solid-wire cabling, like Tripp Lite’s N202-Series). LEDs on the transmitter indicate when the unit is receiving power and an HDMI signal. Included mounting hardware supports rack-mount, wall-mount or pole-mount installation. To save space in your installation, up to three B126-004 units can be mounted in a B132-004-RB 1U rack-mount bracket.
It’s manufactured in compliance with strict RoHS specifications, reflecting Tripp Lite’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
