EnviroSense2 (E2) Sensor Detects Water Leaks in Your Data Center or Wiring Closet
Tripp Lite’s E2SLD EnviroSense2 Water Leak Detection Sensor protects your IT, data center or building maintenance equipment from moisture. Mount it near cooling units and other network equipment in your server room to detect water leakage or leakage of any other electrically conductive fluid. It supports a Normally Open contact closure connection. When liquid comes in contact with both sensor contacts, the E2SLD sends you an alert notification via web, SNMP, telnet or SSH management interface.
The E2SLD is made from fire-retardant ABS plastic. Mount the sensor to a wood, metal or concrete surface about three millimeters above the raised floor using the included mounting screws, double-sided tape or a user-supplied adhesive. A screw terminal cover is included to protect the wire terminals from damage or interference.
Must Be Used with Tripp Lite’s WEBCARDLX or LX Platform and E2MTHDI
The E2SLD must be used with a compatible Tripp Lite UPS system or PDU equipped with the WEBCARDLX or LX Platform interface, along with an E2MTHDI EnviroSense2 (E2) Environmental Sensor Module with polarity markings (sold separately). The E2MTHDI supports E2SLD and one additional contact closure sensor. Tripp Lite UPS systems and PDUs using the WEBCARDLX or LX Platform connect to an Ethernet network for remote monitoring, control and environmental condition reporting.
