The P440-89FF has a female DB9 connector on one end and a female RJ45 connector on the other. By making DB9 and RJ45 connections compatible, this adapter eliminates the need to upgrade existing hardware.
Create Custom Serial Cable Connections
With the P440-89FF adapter, you can create a custom RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 connection. The wires are color-coded to simplify assembly and troubleshooting. After assembly, tighten the slotted knurled-head thumb screws to secure the adapter to your device’s DB9 port.
