In addition to 12U of rack space in the primary vertical mounting area, the SRWF16U38 includes a 4U horizontal mounting space at the top of the enclosure for patch panels up to 2.5 inches deep. The top cover gives easy access to the patch panels and locks securely to prevent unauthorized access, while the front panel can be removed for access to your larger installed equipment. Installation of equipment is easy, thanks to threaded mounting holes that support 12-24 mounting in a two-post rack.
Built-in Ventilation and Cable Management
The SRWF16U38 is vented, allowing air to flow freely and helping to keep equipment cool. Convenient top, bottom and side ports allow easy cable routing – keeping cables organized also promotes good air circulation.
Secure and Compliant Construction
Constructed from heavy-duty steel with a durable black powder-coated finish, this cabinet has a maximum load capacity of 400 pounds. The SRWF16U38 provides the physical equipment and media security required for PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliance.
Easy Mounting on a Wall or in a 2-Post Rack
Mounting holes are spaced 16 inches apart to accommodate standard wall studs. The SRWF16U38 also supports mounting in a 2-post rack with user-supplied hardware. Once the cabinet is in place, its top cover and front panel are removable to allow easy installation of equipment and expedient access for maintenance.
