Built-in IP access allows you to control computers via LAN, WAN or the Internet. Just log on to a Web browser using the Windows or Java-based browser client and navigate the user-friendly interface in English, Spanish, French, German or Japanese. You can also access the KVM switch without a browser. IP remote access enables system administration, BIOS-level troubleshooting, GUI application installations, equipment reboots and other functions necessary for managing a high-density data center.
The B020-U16-19-IP has a built-in 19-in. LCD that supports video resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 and remote monitor resolutions up to 1600 x 1200. This KVM Switch allows you to select a connected computer using on-console pushbuttons, keyboard hotkey commands or the OSD. An external USB 1.1 port means you can add a peripheral that can be shared across all connected servers. The auto-scan mode automatically sequences through all active ports accessible to the user, and panel array mode lets you monitor multiple ports at the same time. To reduce the amount of data traveling over the network, you can view remote sessions in black and white. This switch supports both IPv4 and IPv6, as well as Link Local IPv6 Address and Stateless Auto Configuration protocol.
The B020-U16-19-IP has a rugged steel housing and premium connectors that are built to last. The firmware is upgradable using the included cable to ensure software remains up-to-date.

The B020-U16-19-IP supports both PS/2 and USB connections using a Tripp Lite P778-Series combo cable kit (a combo cable kit is required for each connected computer; two combo kits are included with the switch). Because compatibility is based on common hardware standards rather than system software dependencies, almost any platform can be accommodated. Connect multiple versions of multiple platforms in any combination, including Windows and Linux operating systems.
The B020-U16-19-IP supports RADIUS and LDAP/S remote authentication. Advanced encryption technologies, such as 512-bit RSA, 256-bit AES, 56-bit DES, 168-bit 3DES, 128-bit RC4 and 128-bit SSL, keep your important data secure. The B020-U16-19-IP lets you create up to 64 user accounts with 3 levels of password protection (administrator, user and select) to prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to connected servers. IP remote access is further protected with security features, including filtering that only allows designated IP and MAC addresses access to the KVM switch.
