The N044-000-R lets users and technicians test wiring continuity for Cat5, Cat6, phone and coax cable assemblies by identifying mis-wires, short circuits and open circuits. The two piece unit efficiently allows users to test patch cables, home-run wiring (patch panel to wall jack), BNC, or F-type coax cable connections for faulty wiring and circuit malfunction.
Finding the connection problem is easy with the two large LED diagnostic panels on the N044-000-R’s Main and Remote units. Simply attach the network wires to the appropriate ports and inspect the multi-colored indicator lights to identify the connection problem.
