How long do Smart-UPS™ Lithium-ion batteries last?
The Lithium-Ion batteries used in Smart-UPS can last 8 to 10 years or 3000 charge/discharge cycles. Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries typically last 3 to 5 years or 200 discharge cycles.
Can I replace the VRLA batteries on my existing UPS with Lithium-ion batteries?
No. Batteries for Smart-UPS with Lithium-ion are not compatible with Smart-UPS with VRLA batteries.
What APC Network Management Card (NMC) comes with my Smart-UPS Lithium-ion?
The Smart-UPS Lithium-ion have the AP9641 UPS network management card with environmental monitoring pre-installed.
How long is the Smart-UPS Ultra warranty?
There is a 5-year warranty for both the electronics and the internal batteries.
How does SmartConnect advance plan differ from SmartConnect standard plan?
All new devices are on-boarded to the Standard plan with remote power monitoring, UPS and power events, automated distribution of firmware to UPSs with one-click remote installation and downloadable asset and renewal reports. Advanced Plan option provides UPS Outlet Group reboot for remote power cycling of connected IT equipment. Features vary with terms of use.
