Getting started is easy

Install your UPS

Install an APC Smart-UPS at your business site. Connect the UPS to your network using the built-in SmartConnect Ethernet port before moving to the next step.

Scan the QR code

Scan the QR Code printed onto your Smart-UPS to automatically begin registration via the web portal.

Register your UPS

Create a Schneider Electric account for your business. Your Smart-UPS will be automatically linked to your account during UPS registration.

SmartConnect Advanced Plan Information

  • Advanced Plan - 1 Year or 3 Year option

  • 1 or 3 year license for Advanced plan and remote power monitoring on SmartConnect with notifications, remote firmware distribution and one-click installation for your UPS. The license term starts on end-user activation. Remote UPS power monitoring with outlet group reboot facilitates equipment troubleshooting and is useful for bringing unresponsive IT equipment back into operation. Power-cycle equipment remotely on a named Outlet Group without having to reach out and instruct someone on site to manage your UPS.
