Plugable's Mini DisplayPort to VGA passive adapter allows you to connect from a Dual-Mode Mini DisplayPort (DP++)/Thunderbolt 2 output on your Mac or PC laptop, desktop, or tablet to virtually any VGA-enabled display. Passive adapters rely on the DisplayPort source output supporting DP++ in order to pass video signals to a VGA display. Our adapter supports resolutions up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz refresh rate.

Dual-Mode DisplayPort source ports are often noted with a DP++ symbol next to the port itself. If unsure if your DisplayPort is DP++ capable, please check with your system manufacturer.

Compatibility

• Compatible with PC and Mac laptops, desktops, or tablets that have Dual-Mode Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt 2 output ports (DP++) to add a VGA-capable monitor, TV, or projector.
• Compliant with VESA Dual-Mode DisplayPort 1.1.

Non-Compatible Setups
