About our Laminated Tapes

The PT-1230PC uses tapes from our TZe laminated line, whereby the text is protected by a thin, clear film. They withstand water, grease, fading and abrasion, and can be used in hot and cold environments, as well as outdoors. Choose from a wide variety of TZe tapes to match your application – use Standard Laminated Tapes for general home or office applications, or use one of our specialty tapes for labeling everything from wires and cables to files and binders – even company assets.

Use P-touch® labels to help you stay organized. Categorize folders with colorful labels according to content to help facilitate quick identification and retrieval of important documents. Create a customized label to easily identify personal items. Including contact information, such as a phone number or e-mail address helps to ensure that misplaced items are returned to their rightful owners. Not sure what is lurking in that food storage container? Use laminated P-touch® labels to keep track of items in your refrigerator or freezer. Include useful information – such as time and date packed or heating instructions. Your containers can go from freezer to the microwave… even the dishwasher – while remaining legible and affixed.

No Software is Left Behind!

The intuitive built-in software enables you to make labels for most of your typical business needs. Since the software is pre-loaded on the label maker, you just connect, type, and print - there’s nothing left behind on your PC**. When you're done, simply turn it off and unplug. Use any of your PC’s installed TrueType® fonts. Import graphics like logos and symbols from your PC. Make and print almost any label that you can imagine. Print graphics and text exactly how it appears on your monitor…even save your label designs to your desktop for future use.

Full Featured Software for Added Functionality

For added features and functionality, you can install the full version of P-touch® Editor software on to your PC (available as a free download). This added functionality allows you to add barcodes to your labels or print from a database.
