With full support of the IEEE 802.3bz standard, the Intellinet 10 Gigabit PCI Express Network Card supports Gigabit speeds using Cat6 and Cat5e network cabling. The former transfers and receives data at up to 5 Gbps whereas the latter still manages an impressive 2.5 Gbps.
Green Ethernet IEEE 802.3az
The Intellinet 10 Gigabit PCI Express Network Card provides performance in abundance while conserving its resources. Based on the energy-efficient Tehuti TN4010 architecture, the reduced power consumption translates directly into much lower heat generation by the PCIe adapter. Less heat means that the card performs perfectly fine with just a small heat sink.
