Faster Downloads and Smoother Streaming with MU-MIMO
When multiple devices are connected to the router, each device needs to take it's turn and then wait before receiving more data. This leads to slower network and Internet speeds. MU-MIMO technology delivers high-speed data streams to up to three devices simultaneously, so there's less waiting, boosting overall network speeds for all WiFi devices.
Dynamic Quality of Service (QoS)
Reduce buffering and lag while gaming or streaming. Dynamic QoS automatically prioritizes bandwidth to latency sensitive applications like online gaming and video streaming by recognizing application and device information as well as bandwidth needs. Dynamic QoS will also ensure that lower priority applications like file downloads will never get completely stopped.
Industry’s First Active Antennas
Nighthawk X8 is the first to introduce Active Antennas. With four internal antennas and four external antennas, the X8 will enhance weak signals and reduce interference. Active Antennas help improve WiFi performance by amplifying WiFi signals in the antenna itself, this avoids signal loss during transmission and noise insertion from the router board.
