When an application calls for an out-of-the-box solution able to deal with zero light conditions and harsh environments - trust Canon's VB-M741LE Infrared Outdoor Fixed Bullet Network Camera. This IP66 rated model is equipped with a built-in Heater and four infrared (IR) illuminators – two designed to maximize wide-angle shots and two for telephoto shots – that can be automatically activated in night mode to help capture brighter images right up to the edge of the screen across the entire field of view. This is combined with an ultra-wide 113.4° angle of view and an infrared (IR) corrected 2.4x Optical Zoom lens with Super Ultra-Low Dispersion elements to help reduce chromatic aberrations and an anti-reflective infrared (IR) lens coating to help improve IR sensitivity and reduce ghosting and flaring in night mode for clean, sharp images.
The cameras advanced optics, combined with a 1.3 megapixel high-sensitivity CMOS sensor and Canon's advanced DIGIC DV III Image Processor help to ensure exceptional image quality and low-light performance. The VB-M741LE is also equipped with a powerful Canon DIGIC NET II Processor for simultaneous streaming of H.264 and M-JPEG video streams in multiple resolutions for versatile monitoring and recording (including monitoring on compatible smart phones and tablets). The VB-M741LE also comes loaded with an array of image-enhancing technologies. Auto Gain Control allows users to determine the fine balance of video brightness and low noise, while Canon's new Haze Compensation automatically enhances contrast and maximizes image quality when fog, haze, or smog are present. Area-Specific Data Size Reduction (ADSR) gives the user the opportunity to save bandwidth by applying different levels of compression to specific areas within a camera's field of view, and a selection of On-board Video Analytics are available including Moving Object Detection, Removed and Abandoned Object Detection, and new Scream and Intrusion Detection capabilities. Canon has also simplified the integration and management of the VB-VB-M741LE. The camera includes Canon's unique Remote Adjustment Function which allows an installer to reposition the cameras zoom position remotely after the camera is installed. ONVIF 2.4.2 Profile S and Profile G conformance facilitates quick and easy camera integration into a security system, while the new Canon Camera Management Tool (CCMT) permits a user to configure and manage most Canon devices from a single screen. The VB-M741LE also offers multiple power options including 12 VDC, 24 VAC, PoE, and PoE+ which allows for single-cable installation to power both the camera and heater (extreme climates may require additional power). Two-way audio communication between the operator and camera locations is also possible when a speaker and microphone are connected to the camera.
