EnGenius Wireless IP Surveillance System is specifically designed and engineered to extend the network over great distances and to transfer streaming video at stable, robust wireless speeds in challenging point-to-point deployment environments that are difficult to reach.
The Wireless IP Surveillance System is an affordable alternative to conventional surveillance deployments. Long-range wireless point-to-point surveillance networks offer a variety of benefits including lower hardware infrastructure and reduced maintenance costs. Additionally, the EDS8022 also enhances or expands an existing point-to-multipoint installation by directing it toward a centralized Access Point, offering the potential to speed deployments while saving reconfiguration time and costs.
Tethering a series of EnGenius 2-Megapixel Day/Night HD Bullet IP Surveillance Cameras to the AP gives you “eyes on” places you might not otherwise see—no matter how far away, with significantly better results than traditional non-tethered wireless surveillance setups.
The AP supports three operation modes — Access Point, Client Bridge, and WDS Bridge. This flexibility makes them a versatile solution for IT managers who may need to update or reconfigure their deployments as the needs of their network change.
To address the threat of suspicious activity in places with multiple entry points, the IP Surveillance Camera supports a motion detected-trigger, which automatically activates a recording of the covered area or sounds a connected third-party alarm ensuring all activity is monitored so employees, deliveries, and other assets arrive and depart safely and on time.
To document insurance claims or provide law enforcement with video evidence, the IP Surveillance Camera can snap 1920x1080 HD JPEG images or record H.264/MPEG-4 and motion JPEG video clips at 30 frames per second and send them via the network to a hard drive or NAS.
The camera adheres to the ONVIF standard, allowing for easy integration with other ONVIF-compliant third-party hardware and software available on the market. The included 16-channel Video Management Software (VMS) provides live view monitoring, record, playback and quick search features. Organizations that want to monitor enclosed areas where many blind spots are present can benefit from utilizing the VMS since it allows minimal personnel to monitor the property while still maintaining the highest level of security.
The IP camera integrates with third-party digital alarms, sensors or other electronic devices for real-time event warnings and alerts that can serve as a deterrent to continued suspicious activity. Connect the camera to an audible alarm that will sound when the camera’s motion/audio-in detector is triggered or to lighting or other sensors designed to activate when triggered. Send triggered event alerts directly to a smartphone or tablet via EnGenuis push notifications, ensuring a rapid response to in-progress events.
The camera includes a 12V/1A power adapter, and is also 802.3af-compliant so it can be powered via PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) from a PoE switch, helping to integrate with both older and more modern infrastructure. It features a 3-axis pivot mechanism with cable management bracket for a clean professional installation while protecting the camera’s wires from the elements.
Designed to withstand extremely harsh environmental conditions, the IP Camera is housed in an IP66-rated enclosure.
