The ShadowBox Clarion is a fixed projection screen that has a viewing surface that snaps to the back of a 1-1/2" (38mm) extruded aluminum frame. The frame keeps the surface taut for a flat viewing surface. The frame serves as a black border around the viewing area for a trim, finished appearance. It comes standard with a black powder coat finish, but is optionally available with a Vel-Tex finish. The Vel-Tex finish is a black, velvety textile covering that is a recommended option that cuts reflection and conceals all trace of joints in the frame.
