The DS-5518TSL is 25% slimmer than its predecessor (the DS-5517TSL.) The upgraded DS-5518TSL includes an interactive 3M Microtouch dispersive signal Technology (DST) touch screen - perfect for engaging customers, way-finding and presentations - while rugged enough for high-traffic outdoor venues.
Designed for permanent outdoor installation, the DS-5518TSL features Enhanced Solar Tolerance (EST) technology to guard against isotropic black-out, or those dark spots that appear on LED screens when directly facing the sun. Fully operational in temps up to 122 degrees F. and down to 5 degrees F., its powder-coated, rust-proof aluminum exterior is designed to protect internal components and withstand rain, snow, dust, humidity and bugs.
A weatherproof detachable 20W speaker bar can be mounted on top or bottom of the unit. The speaker is sold separately.
