The Pocket Blu-ray burner is a portable Blu-ray reader/writer burner that comes with the lighting fast eSATA and the ubiquitous USB 2.0 interface. You can now turn your Notebook or Desktop computer into a high definition cinema and enjoy the high definition video quality and the dynamic sound effect that comes in the Blu-ray. The Pocket Blu-ray burners supports writing and reading on practically all type of Blu-ray, DVD or CD media in various file formats.
When connecting to eSATA port of a computer, you can be ensured of the fastest throughput up to 3 Gbits/sec for the Blu-ray, DVD or CD recording and the smoothest playback of the Blu-ray and DVD movie. The USB 2.0 interface of the Pocket Blu-Ray burner allows it to attach to practically any computer. Designed to work in the latest Windows, Mac and Linux OS, this Pocket Blu-ray burner can also be powered from most of the USB ports* for true portability in mobile application
Securing the data
You can now secure your data on the Blu-ray, DVD or CD disc with AES 256-bit encryption by simply installing the optional Addonics CipherUSB between the Pocket Blu-ray burner and the USB port of the PC. There is no addtional software to install or password to remembr to use the CiperUSB. Once encrypted, the information on the disc will be invisible in any Blu-ray or DVD/CD player. It is a simple and cost effective solution to secure any sensitive information stored in the optical media.
