Enterprise Session Border Controller for Video
The EdgeProtect™7000 series enables SMB and enterprise customers to deploy a single appliance for secure, reliable and ubiquitous video conferencing that enhances the communication experience and improves productivity. EdgeProtect is an enterprise session border controller (ESBC) providing a complete NAT and firewall traversal solution and simplified remote access for video communications.
EdgeProtect supports standards-based H.323 and H.460 firewall and NAT traversal with flexible security policy management. EdgeProtect offers local call control with the embedded gatekeeper option for H.323 signaling. Media features include shortest path media routing or media relay when H.460 firewall traversal is required.
EdgeProtect supports WAN or LAN side gatekeeper configurations to ensure interoperability for networks with existing multi-vendor endpoints or gatekeeper environments, providing flexibility to choose from best of breed technology for service delivery.
