The newest additions to the IBM System x® family of SAS HDD and SED drives offer higher performance options and provide an extended selection of choices to satisfy a wide range of applications. These new drives are positioned at the top of the IBM SAS hard drive line in the 2.5-inch space.
The new 1.2 TB SAS G2HS and SS HDDs provide 2.5-inch form factor options. The G2 HDD and SED SAS drives are available as hot-swap versions.
