New Flex System chassis and compute node models are being added to the Lenovo® TopSeller Portfolio, designed and priced to meet the needs of our partners and customers. These models are preconfigured to meet requirements for various enterprise workloads and enable single part number ordering. They have been priced to offer significant savings for our clients. The configuration consists of two chassis models - value and performance. The value model comes pre-integrated with two Flex System SI4093 Interconnect Modules that offer low cost simple connectivity to a client's network. The performance model comes pre integrated with two Flex System CN4093 Converged Switch Modules that enable LAN/SAN connectivity and future growth.
Flex System TopSeller compute nodes offer a choice of entry, value and performance capability based on workload requirements. Four of these models will be based on Intel Xeon™ Processor E5-2600 v2 series technology and five models based on the latest Intel Xeon Processor E5-2600 v3 series technology. Clients will have a choice of different memory configurations between 32 GB to 128 GB memory. All nodes come with Virtual Fabric capability that enables up to 2 x 10 Gb or eight vNICs per node. The x240 M5 compute nodes offer uncompromised CPU performance plus industry-leading memory support for maximum VMs or VDI users, resulting in high utilization and lower cost for our clients.
