The DarkCrystal HD Capture SDK Duo is a 1080p HD capture card that allows you to simultaneously capture video from two HD and SD sources. Intended for mission-critical applications and to save precious PCI-e slot availability.
The exclusive hardware design of the AVerMedia DarkCrystal HD Capture Duo allows any video professional to monitor, archive, verify, master or broadcast HD video content with more flexibility and more possibilities. It is designed to fulfill any high-density HD capture or encoding demands. With only one PCI-E slot, it is capable of preserving up to 4 videos from analog or digital sources in SD or HD quality simultaneously. The dual HDMI ports receive the uncompressed 1080p video from HD camcorders, set-top boxes or other video devices directly in 8-bit color precision. Meanwhile, the PCI-Express interface takes care of high-speed transmissions without frame dropping.
In addition to the comprehensive video input selection, the VESA resolution support allows the DarkCrystal HD Capture Duo to meet various needs from different industries. Also, this four-in-one capture card is fully DirectShow compatible. That means it can work perfectly with your familiar video streaming or post-production software. To expand the scope of application, the DarkCrystal HD Capture SDK Duo is bundled with a Software Development Kit that includes frequently used functions for web broadcasting, lab work, healthcare purposes and manufacturing. This feature also makes it an ideal solution for system integration.
Capturing HDCP (HIGH-Bandwidth Digital Protection) is not supported.
